Transit Events
Transit’s Events have three purposes; to connect us relationally, connect us spiritually, and to connect us to Jesus. The events we have planned meet those criteria perfectly. We will first spend time together while playing Lazer tag. Relationships are always developed while interacting together in fun, and unoffensive ways. Then we will serve together which will take our new found friendships to a deeper more spiritual level. Instead of doing something only for us, we will serve together which begins to connect our relationships to our relationships with God. Hopefully this begins to bridge the compartmentalization gap so many of us form. As middle schoolers we want them to develop lives where God and every day life collide. Finally we will take a trip to Michindoh Camp in Michigan that will help them take their own personal walks with God to a far deeper level. Each of these purposes collide at this event as we will have a ton of fun, we will talk about our spiritual lives, and we will be challenged to grow closer to God through daily challenges from the Bible! You do not want your students to miss out on these events, so please plan to get them involved for their futures sake, and yours!
